Eagles fans already know they have something special in Carson Wentz. But now it sounds like every fan of the NFL will know it real soon. In an interview today, Jacksonville Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey, who's never shy about sharing what's on his mind, gave his assessment of basically every quarterback in the league. When he brought up Carson Wentz, he only had good things to say about him.
Wentz finished 3rd in MVP voting last season, but had a legitimate chance at winning if he would have played the entire regular season. If what Ramsey said today ends up being true, then Eagles fans can expect the team to be contenders for the next 5-10 years.
When considering that Ramsey's skill on the field is rivaled by his trash talking abilities, and looking at what he had to say about some of the other quarterbacks in the league, Ramsey's comments on Wentz amount to some high praise.
