There are some jersey number changes coming to the Eagles defense this upcoming season. Jalen Mills is no longer wearing #31, as instead newest Eagle Nickell Robey-Coleman will sport the number.
Jalen Mills confirmed the move as he says he'll be wearing #21.
#21 became available with Ronald Darby leaving for Washington. This is the first time that number has become available to Mills, as it was previously held by Leodis McKelvin (2016), Patrick Robinson (2017) and Darby (2018-2019).
We'll see if the new number allows Mills to get a fresh and clean slate to cement himself as a potential defensive leader in 2020.
