You would think the guy that made a dirty hit that directly impacted the outcome of a game would keep quiet, right? Well you'd be wrong.
After tonight's game, Jadeveon Clowney was asked about the play where he directly targeted Carson Wentz's head. Instead of apologizing or avoiding the questions, Clowney decided to take the low road. He deflected any wrongdoing on his part and instead took the time to call out and antagonize Eagles fans.
Clowney will likely be public enemy #1 in Philadelphia for a while. He is set to become a free agent this offseason, and I doubt after calling out the entire city that any Eagles fan would want Howie Roseman to sign him. There is also a chance he re-signs in Seattle, and if he does stay with the Seahawks he will have to return to play the Eagles at the Linc next year.
I'm sure he won't get a warm welcome if he takes the field here next season, but Clowney asked for this by playing dirty and talking trash after the fact.
