In 2017 the Eagles rallied around the underdog masks, which fans went out in droves to purchase. Last season the team rallied around "turnover ski masks", which fans also began wearing to games. This season there appeared to be a brief movement of the "turnover backpack", but it doesn't look like that sticked around. This past weekend though it appeared the team has decided to bring back one of the fan favorites.
After recovering the lone turnover of the game for the Eagles on a kickoff, linebacker/special teamer Duke Riley went to the sideline and threw on a ski mask that went well with the black jerseys the Eagles donned.
We'll have to wait until the next game against the Patriots to see if this was a one time deal or if the ski mask will be making a late season run. I'm sure the idea of forcing Tom Brady into a turnover will have Eagle defenders foaming at the mouth to get a chance to wear the ski mask. It'll be full circle of one of those defenders ends up being Brandon Graham.
