The XFL is almost done its first month back in action. The league is littered with former Eagles across the league, and with not a lot of Eagles news happening this time of year, we will be monitoring how the former Eagles are performing. If you need a recap of which Eagles appeared on the stat sheets so far, you can look back at our previous articles:
This week, 15 former Eagles got their names on the official scorecards. Here's what the Week 3 stats showed:
•RB Matt Jones (St. Louis): 15 rushes, 95 yards, one touchdown
• S Godwin Igwebuike (Seattle): seven tackles, two passes defended, one interception
•LB Asantay Brown (Dallas): nine tackles (one for loss)
•S Jerome Couplin (Los Angeles): six tackles
•CB Ajene Harris (Houston): six tackles
•CB Josh Hawkins (Dallas): two tackles, two passes defended, one interception
•RB Donnell Pumphrey (D.C.): eight rushes, 40 yards; two receptions, seven yards
•QB Luis Perez (New York): 4/5, 39 yards, one touchdown
•QB Matt McGloin (New York): 8/11, 84 yards, one interception
•LB Ryan Mueller (New York): three tackles, one QB hit, 0.5 sacks
•DT Elijah Qualls (D.C.): three tackles (one for loss)
•LB Quentin Gause (Los Angeles): two tackles
•Carlton Agudosi (St. Louis): one blocked punt
•WR DeAndre Thompkins (D.C.): one reception, 18 yards
•DT Gabe Wright (Houston): one tackle
It's still a little too early to tell if any of these former Birds will break out and make a name for themselves in this league. There are still seven more weeks in their regular season to establish themselves before the playoffs come around. Once the playoffs are over, there might be a few players from this list that make their way onto 90-man NFL rosters when training camp rolls around.
