The Eagles extended their losing streak against the Green Bay Packers this past weekend, and they will have yet another tough matchup this week with the New Orleans Saints. The Saints are currently the #1 team in the NFC, while the Eagles currently would hold the sixth overall pick in April's draft.
While the Eagles continue to not play well, there are some former Eagles that have helped their current teams. Below is an overview of some former Birds in their games from this past week.
Agholor and the Raiders beat the New York Jets this past week 31-28. He had a decent performance with four receptions for 38 yards. Even with an average level of production, this was Agholor’s best game this season for his targets. He ended the game with 11 targets, the first time this season with double-digit targets in a game.
Sendejo has had a pretty wild 18+ months. He left the Minnesota Vikings to sign a one-year deal with the Eagles in March of 2019. He was waived in November of 2019 and was picked back up by the Vikings. Now Sendejo plays for the Cleveland Browns and has been playing well of late. In Cleveland's win against the Tennessee Titans this past week, he was the game-leader in solo tackles (seven) and total tackles (eight).
Tate did not have a standout game this week, but he did not have his starting quarterback throwing to him so that was to be expected. The Giants started Colt McCoy this week and somehow pulled off an upset win over the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle. The Giants defense is to thank for the win, as Tate only had four receptions (on four targets) for 30 yards and McCoy only had 105 passing yards.
