Former Eagles in the XFL: XFL Championship Game

The XFL season has quickly come and gone, with the XFL Championship taking place on Mother's Day Weekend.

The Arlington Renegades defeated the D.C. Defenders 35-26. There were 10 former Eagles between the two teams and some of them made big splashes in their most-important game of the season, accounting for 5 of the 8 touchdowns in the game.

Here's a look at the stats from the XFL Championship Game:

Arlington Renegades

*QB Luis Perez 26/36, 288 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns; 6 rushes, 10 rushing yards

CB Cre’Von LeBlanc 3.0 tackles, 1 interception

CB De’Vante Bausby 3.0 tackles

DL Bruce Hector 2.0 tackles

DE Ryan Mueller N/A

CB Josh Hawkins ^IR

*Luis Perez was named XFL Championship Game MVP*

DC Defenders

WR Josh Hammond 6 receptions (10 targets), 127 receiving yards, 2 receiving touchdowns

TE Alex Ellis 2 receptions (2 targets), 17 receiving yards

K Matt McCrane NA

DT Gabe Wright N/A

The next step for these former Eagles is to wait and see if they receive invites to any NFL team's training camp this summer. If not then they will have jobs waiting for them for the 2024 XFL season.
