You probably never even heard of him before, but Keanon Lowe became a hero today.
Lowe, who was an Eagles analyst in 2015, currently works as a security guard at Parkrose High. He also serves as the coach for the school's football and track teams. He encountered a gunman at the school and was able to tackle him before any shots were fired, according to Oregon Live.
He wasn't able to make a name for himself as a coach in the NFL, but now Lowe has made a name for himself for something much more heroic and honorable. He's still in his late-20's, but if he is able to tackle that well maybe he can earn himself another shot in the league as a defender if he wanted to give the NFL a second try.
