The Philadelphia Eagles are moving on to week two against the Atlanta Falcons after defeating the Washington Redskins. The Falcons will likely be short an offensive lineman for next week's Sunday night game.
Chris Lindstrom, from Boston College, was selected 14th overall in the 2019 draft by the Falcons. He had played just 42 snaps before he was injured and had to leave the game. The team will not confirm how much time Lindstrom will miss until further testing is completed today, but there is initial fear that it is a significant injury.
The Falcons lost their first game of the season to the Minnesota Vikings while the Eagles went on to defeat the Washing Redskins. With the hole left by Lindstrom in the Falcon's O-line, it will be that much easier for the Eagles to improve their winning record to 2-0 next Sunday.
