Today a lot of teams throughout the NFL worked out free agent players to see if they can add a diamond in the rough to make their teams better in the long haul. The Eagles ended up bringing seven players to the NovaCare Complex today to see if they would impress with their workout. The seven players are listed below:
Bringing in Paxton Lynch was a little bit of a head scratcher. The former first round pick has been a bust so far in his NFL career, and now he is trying to work his way back to a NFL roster. With the Eagles already having Carson Wentz, Nick Foles and Nate Sudfeld, there isn't really a pressing need to bring in a QB. Maybe Howie Roseman is listening to offers for either Nick Foles or Nate Sudfeld (Sudfeld is a free agent this offseason).
Today's workouts did end up with one player finding a job today, as apparently the team has signed WR Kamar Aiken to the roster.
