The Eagles bolstered their linebacking corps today, as the team signed former Charger Kyzir White to a one-year deal.
White successfully transitioned from a safety in college to becoming an impact starting linebacker in the NFL. He set a career high last season with 144 total tackles (3rd-most in the AFC) and recorded double digit tackles in seven games. He was one of three NFL players to have a sack, multiple forced fumbles, and multiple interceptions last season.
In 47 career games, White has 278 tackles (13 tackles for loss), 4 interceptions, 10 passes defended, 7 QB hits, 1.5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles.
White is slated to start for the Birds this season, but hopefully Howie Roseman isn't done adding productive linebackers to this roster.
