Eagles sign Braxton Miller to the Practice Squad

Mike Weiss

The Eagles signed Braxton Miller to the practice squad on Saturday. Miller was drafted by the Houston Texans in the 3rdround of the 2016 NFL draft. He will provide the Eagles for some depth at the wide receiver position.

Over two seasons with the Texans, Miller hauled in 34 receptions for 261 yards and 2 TDs. Interesting to note with Braxton Miller; he once played QB for THE Ohio State Buckeyes. That should bring some versatility in practice when preparing for a mobile QB this season (Mariota, Newton, Watson). Also, Braxton Miller is a prime passing candidate for another Philly Special.
