Eagles Send Reps to Alabama's Pro Day; Have Eyes on Tons of Prospects

One of the biggest Pro Days in the country took place this morning, as prospects out of the University of Alabama took the field to show off their strengths and weaknesses.

Naturally, the Eagles had a few representatives in Alabama to watch in person.

The Crimson Tide have a ton of prospects that the Eagles might have their eyes on. Here's a run down of who the team might have kept tabs on this morning:

Josh Jacobs | RB | 5'10, 216 lbs| Jr.

Jacobs is a perfect fit for the Eagles offense. A three-down back that can catch the ball out of the backfield, run over a defender in between the tackles, or make a man miss in the open field. Getting Wentz a true RB behind an already solid OL, should be priority one in the draft. Eagles running back coach Duce Staley was on-hand to watch Jacobs' performance.

Current Projection: 1st-2nd Round

Mack Wilson | ILB | 6'2, 239 lbs| Jr.

An extremely fast and athletic LB, Wilson is sure to be a first round pick in April. With Bradham and possibly Grugier-Hill the current starting LBs, investing in the position early may be beneficial for the defense.

Current Projection: 1st-round

Damien Harris | RB | 5'11, 215 lbs| Sr.

It seems as though Harris has been playing college football for much longer than 4 years. Harris has been a quietly productive running back for the Tide and plays a similar style to Mark Ingram. I am not saying that he will be as good as Ingram, however Harris runs behind his pads as a bruiser, but can also catch the ball well out of the backfield. Eagles running back coach Duce Staley was on-hand to watch Harris' performance.

Current Projection: 2nd-round

Deionte Thompson | S | 6’2, 196 lbs| Jr.

Another consensus first-round pick out of Alabama, the Eagles will be lucky if he falls to the bottom half of the draft. Thompson possesses elite range as a single high safety, and loves to make a hit. Thompson would fit right in and lead the new wave of Eagles safeties, after McLeod's contract is up.

Current Projection: 1st Round

Jonah Williams | LT | 6’5, 301 lbs| Jr.

Starting at tackle since his freshman year at Alabama, Williams has been a mainstay on the edge for the Crimson Tide. Depending how the draft board falls, Williams may also be a top 10 pick and out of the reach of the Eagles. However, Williams' technique, strength, and lateral ability will allow him to fill in as the blind side protector for any franchise that calls him name.

Current Projection: 1st Round
