Eagles representatives are searching across the country for players the team feels they need. Even though everyone always thinks of the big schools like Alabama and Ohio State, sometime players can come from smaller backgrounds. Enter Morgan State, where an Eagles rep was seen watching their pro day yesterday.
Morgan State has one prospect who has the ability to be drafted, and that is offensive linemen Joshua Miles.
Joshua Miles | OT | 6'6, 305 lbs| Sr.
Morgan State isn't known to be a football powerhouse that produces NFL prospects regularly. Miles is hoping to become the first Morgan State player drafted since tight end Visanthe Shiancoe was drafted by the New York Giants in the 3rd round of the 2003 NFL Draft. He also became the first MSU player in school history ever to compete in the East-West Shrine game, and also participated at the combine.
Miles was named preseason All-MEAC team before the 2018 season, and was voted as a captain by his teammates. During the season he was named the MEAC Offensive Lineman of the Week three times, and allowed just a single sack all year. He finished the season as an Third Team All-MEAC selection. The Eagles could use a late draft pick on him or they see him as a priority undrafted free agent
Current Projection: 7th Round/UDFA
