Eagles Scouts Interview Three Players at Monday's East-West Shrine Practice

It is officially draft season for the Philadelphia Eagles after they were eliminated from the playoffs by the New Orleans Saints. Eagles scouts already find themselves busy, as they are down in St. Petersburg, Florida watching practices for the East-West Shrine Game. On Monday, Eagles scouts were seen interviewing three players.

Syracuse: Chris Slayton | DE | 6'4, 309 lbs | Sr.

Slayton, better known as "3-Technique" by teammates and coaches was a huge part of the Orange defense that finished 6th in the nation in sacks. While Slayton only finished the season with 3.5 sacks, he almost always required a double team, freeing up other pass rushers.

North Carolina State: A.J. Cole III | P | 6'4, 218 lbs | Sr.

Well, hes a punter. Sooooo...not really much to talk about. Maybe the Eagles are thinking about bringing in competition for Cameron Johnston.

Temple: Michael Dogbe | DT | 6'3, 280 lbs | Sr.

Dogbe, wore number 9 (a single digit jersey) during his senior season at Temple. Temple awards single digit jersey numbers to the 9 toughest players in spring practices. This goes to show how this guy goes about his game. Dogbe lead the Owls in sacks (7.0) and was third on the team in tackles with 63. A true "dog", Dogbe has been a show out at the Shrine week practices.
