Eagles Scouts Interview One Player at Wednesday's East-West Shrine Practice

The Eagles continued their scouting at the East-West Shine Bowl yesterday after initially interviewing three players Monday and interviewing six players on Tuesday. Only one player was interviewed on Wednesday, but he is someone scouts believe will be a middle-round pick.

Oklahoma State: Jordan Brailford | DE | 6'3, 250 lbs | Jr.

Currently projected to be a 5th round draft pick, Brailford already has the size of an NFL DE or stand-up WILL LB. Brailford was 2nd in the Big12 in sacks with 9 in 2018, mainly using his length to get by defenders. As many Eagles fans like, Jordan has a high motor, and gets his nose to the football.

What the Eagles must have loved watching this guy's film was his versatility in a 3 technique as an end, standing up as a WILL and even played the MLB position in 2018. Brailford was also asked to drop into coverage at times. While Jordan didn't necessarily flash in coverage, he showed enough to prove that it's something that can be done.
