The Eagles are bringing back one of their familiar defensive veterans, as today it was reported that Vinny Curry is remaining in Philadelphia.
After spending the first six years of his professional career as an Eagle, Curry signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers back in 2018. He lasted just one season there before being released, and the Eagles decided to bring him back for 2019. He had a solid year in a backup role, recording 27 tackles (five for loss), 12 QB hits, and 5.0 sacks.
With Brandon Graham and Derek Barnett still in front of him on the depth chart, Curry will once again be a depth/rotational piece for the team in 2020, but that role has fit him well his entire career.
