Eagles Propose Two Rule Changes for 2019

The new NFL year is just a few days away. On March 13th, Free Agency will begin to officially christen the start of the 2019 season, but before that the NFL needs to make sure everyone agrees on the rules in place for the season.

Yesterday, teams that wanted changes to the rules proposed what rules they wanted altered. The Eagles ended up submitting requests for two rules to be changed:

Jeffery Lurie must be a big fan of official reviews. That isn't necessarily a problem, although it would likely mean that games drag on a little longer.

The potential changes to the rules will be voted upon in the coming days by the NFL's 32 owners at the annual league meetings, which takes place March 24th-27th in Phoenix, Arizona. We will know soon if these proposals submitted by the Birds will get approved or declined.
