Eagles One of Few Teams That Had "Great Meeting" With Ohio State DE

The Senior Bowl is one of the best pre-draft events, as it gives college seniors one last chance to showcase their abilities before April's draft. It also gives each prospect the ability to have a formal meeting with every NFL team.

Ohio State DE Jonathon Cooper talked about his formal meetings at the Senior Bowl, and specifically mentioned that his meeting with the Eagles was one of the few "great" meetings he had.

Cooper only played in eight games in 2020, but he was productive with 24 tackles (3.5 tackles for loss) 3.5 sacks, a pass deflection, and a forced fumble.

The Ohio State product is currently projected to be a day three pick. With uncertainty regarding Derek Barnett (possible cap casualty) and Brandon Graham (age), the pass rushing future in Philadelphia is questionable. It'll be worth keeping an eye on Cooper by the time the draft starts is day three Saturday session.
