Eagles Making Offensive Line Changes for Sunday's Game

The Eagles Offensive Line has struggled since Carson Wentz's return from his ACL injury. With the franchise QB's protection and health being the utmost importance, the team has decided to make a switch to their line this week. Isaac Seumalo will be starting at Left Guard, while it appears Stefen Wisniewski has been benched.

This seems like Seumalo's last chance at redemption. He was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2016 NFL Draft, with the team expecting him to be a starter on their line for year's to come, protecting their newly drafted franchise QB Carson Wentz.

Seumalo had a pedestrian rookie season, and ended up taking snaps at all five Offensive Line positions. The team decided to make him the starting Left Guard for the 2017 season, but lost his starting role early in the season to Chance Warmack, who ended up losing his spot to Stefen Wisniewski.

If Seumalo fails to take advantage of this opportunity, the Eagles may choose to move on from him after the season, and look for Offensive Line help in the 2019 NFL Draft.
