Eagles Make Roster Changes Before Sunday's Game

Before the Eagles take the field on Sunday against the Panthers, they have decided to make one last change to the roster, which might have some significant reasoning behind it.

With Kamar Aiken off the squad now, it appears De'Andre Carter has secured a long-term spot as a role-player in the Eagles offense, and will continue being the team's punt-returner until Darren Sproles is healthy enough to return.

Promoting Bruce Hector could mean that Haloti Ngata still isn't ready to return from his calf injury. He has missed the last two games, and is listed as questionable for the Panthers game. Hector could rotate with Trayvon Hester and Michael Bennett as the defensive tackle next to Fletcher Cox, who will be trying to disrupt Cam Newton the whole game.

Hector and/or Hester will likely only be around until Tim Jernigan is healthy enough to return from his offseason surgery. So far though, the Eagles' defensive line has been able to produce without Jernigan.
