Eagles Have Two Key Players Return to Practice Wednesday

With a huge match-up this weekend against the Dallas Cowboys, it'll be important for the Eagles to have as many players as possible available to help get a "W" in this divisional duel.  The team reported good news today on that front, saying running back Darren Sproles and right tackle Lane Johnson are now both expected to play versus Dallas this Sunday.

Sproles has missed most of the season after injuring his hamstring in Week 2 of practice, while Johnson sprained his MCL against the Jacksonville Jaguars just 11 days ago.

It was originally thought that Johnson would miss more time with his MCL injury. Against a tough Cowboys defensive line, the Eagles will need all the help they can get to protect Carson Wentz. Wentz will also have another weapon in the backfield when he gets Sproles back.

With the Eagles getting healthy and the Cowboys struggling, it's no wonder the Birds are heavy favorites to win Sunday's game.
