The Eagles have spent their brief offseason so far making some changes to the coaching staff and to the front office. In a series of moves over the past few weeks, they have added Roy Istvan as their assistant OL coach, Matt Burke to an advisory role for the defense, G.J. Kinne as an offensive assistant, Carson Walch as the new wide receivers coach, and Joe Pannunzio and Mike Bartrum in unspecified roles.
The team has made another coaching change, this time promoting assistant d-line coach Phillip Daniels to be the guy in charge full-time of Fletcher Cox and company.
This is the second promotion the Eagles have handed a coach this offseason, with Carson Walch being the other.
Before this promotion, Daniels joined the Eagles coaching staff during the 2016 offseason as had previously been the team’s defensive quality control coach as well as the assistant defensive line coach.
