Eagles Fantasy Football Week 17: Start 'Em and Sit 'Em

The Eagles have nothing to play for this week, and that is the reason why many players are ruled out this week with the minor injuries they are dealing with. This game may not be important to the players or most fans, but there are still a few fantasy leagues out there trying to decide their champion. If you are one of those people and have some Eagles on your roster, here are three players you can start confidently this week.

Jalen Hurts

Hurts has shown great potential as the future Eagles starting quarterback. He has been able to move the ball through the air and on the ground. In each of the past two games, Hurts has thrown for over 330 yards and has run for over 60 yards. As long as he doesn’t have multiple turnovers in a game, Hurts will be able to put in QB1 numbers this week.

Jalen Reagor

Eagles receivers haven't been a sexy option since the Travis Fulgham hot streak in October, but Reagor is an interesting option. Even if he doesn’t blow us away, he seems to be the top target for wide receivers. Last week he had seven targets, the next highest number of targets to a wide receiver was three. It seems that Hurts will look his way more than other receivers, and for that reason Reagor would be the Eagles receiver I would start.

Zach Ertz

Dallas Goedert (3 receptions, 38 yards) had a slightly better performance during the game against Dallas than Ertz (3 receptions, 33 yards). Ertz did however out-target Goedert; Ertz had seven targets while Goedert only had three. Goedert is not playing this week due to a calf injury, so Ertz is worthy of a start and should be targeted fairly often.
