Eagles Defensive Tackle Spent Time Working With Aaron Donald This Offseason

Even though Eagles fans would like to debate that Fletcher Cox is the best defensive tackle in the NFL, all other football fans and media agree that Aaron Donald holds that title.

So it'd be smart for other defensive tackles in the league to try and workout with Donald and communicate with him as much as possible to try and pick his brain. Well one Eagles defensive tackle is fortunate enough to have played with him in high school and still remains friends with him to this day. Treyvon Hester, who is entering his second season in Philadelphia, told NJ.com's Mike Kaye that he went to Pittsburgh this offseason to train with Donald.

As of now, Fletcher Cox, Malik Jackson and Tim Jernigan are all ahead of Hester on the depth chart. If the Eagles only keep four defensive tackles, then Hester will compete with Hassan Ridgeway for that fourth spot. If they end up keeping five, then Hester should have a spot locked up on the 53-man roster.
