Since their season ended, the Eagles have been busy making coaching and front office changes. For the 2019 season, they have added Roy Istvan as their assistant OL coach, Matt Burke to an advisory role for the defense, G.J. Kinne as an offensive assistant, Carson Walch as the new wide receivers coach, and Joe Pannunzio in for an unspecified role.
Even with all of those moves, the Eagles still aren't done. It appears they are adding another former player to their coaching staff: LS/TE Mike Bartrum.
Bartrum had been a Commissioner of Meigs County in Ohio since 2009 before resigning from his position to come back to Philadelphia. He also served as the head coach of the Meigs High School football team.
In 107 games with the Eagles, Bartrum caught nine passes for 63 yards and four TDs when he was on the field as a tight end. Bartrum was also an excellent longsnapper, and he showed off his skills in a news telecast attached below.
