Eagles Bring Back Orlando Scandrick

The Eagles started their 2019 season not fully healthy at the cornerback position. Jalen Mills was (and still is) recovering from his foot injury he suffered last season and is currently on the Physically Unable to Perform list. Cre'Von LeBlanc then suffered the same type of foot injury in this first Training Camp practice and is on Injured Reserve, which guarantees him to miss at least the first eight weeks of the season.

Entering Week 1 the Eagles had just four healthy cornerbacks: Ronald Darby, Sidney Jones, Avonte Maddox, and Rasul Douglas. So let's take a look at how they are all doing:

•Ronald Darby suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions and is expected to miss a few more weeks.

•Sidney Jones suffered a hamstring injury against the Packers and will likely miss at least a week or two. •Avonte Maddox took a hit from teammate Andrew Sendejo that left him with a concussion and neck injury and is unclear how long he'll be out.

After signing Craig James from the practice squad, the Eagles are now down to just to healthy cornerbacks -- James and Douglas.

The Eagles are changing that and adding a third corner as they are reportedly bringing back Orlando Scandrick.

If no other additions are made before next Sunday's game against the Jets, then it appears Douglas and James will be the outside cornerbacks, with Scandrick as the slot guy.
