The Philadelphia Eagles are insanely talented at the wide receiver position. Carson Wentz already had weapons like DeSean Jackson, Alshon Jeffery, Zach Ertz, and Nelson Agholor, but it looks as though JJ Arcega-Whiteside will also play a major role in 2019.
Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports reported on Wednesday that the Eagles really like what they've seen from the young redzone threat.
The Philadelphia Eagles selected Arcega-Whiteside with the 57th overall pick from the NFL Draft. He already made history by being the first player born in Spain to ever be drafted to into the NFL. Arcega-Whiteside finished last season at Stanford with 63 catches for 1,059 yards and 14 touchdowns.
It will be interesting to see him tonight on the field against the Jacksonville Jaguars and in the regular season. If Arcega-Whiteside lives up to the expectations being placed on him, the Eagles offense will be a very dangerous threat to opposing defenses.
