Eagles Announce 10 Contracts Handed Out

One of the first moves in every offseason is the announcement of players getting reserve/futures contracts.

The Eagles announced that they are bringing back nine players on those types of contracts, and also announced that they have signed DT T.Y. McGill to a one-year deal.

The nine reserve/futures contract were handed out to players who were on the practice squad this year, and they will be given a chance to show off their skills when teams meet up for OTAs and training camp.

From these 10 total contracts, the ones most likely to make the 2021 initial 53-man roster would be T.Y. McGill and/or Treyvon Hester, given that the team is likely moving on from Malik Jackson. Joe Ostman is also interesting. He has been hanging around in training camp and on the practice squad the past few seasons, and with Vinny Curry and Derek Barnett possibly moving on this offseason, there will likely be at least one DE spot up for the taking.
