The Eagles defensive line got a little bit better today, as the team announced that they have (finally) activated Tim Jernigan from the NFI list.
Jernigan will be a breath of fresh air on the defensive line, as it will allow Fletcher Cox to either get one-on-one opportunities. If teams still double-team Cox, Jernigan has the ability to beat offensive lineman to pressure the quarterback.
The team also announced that they have made changes to the practice squad.
Jernigan's return might be too little, too late as the team is 4-6 and is only still in the playoff conversation because the rest of the NFC East is in turmoil. Jernigan will need to come out of the gate like a bull and start his return back by helping the Eagles beat the their NFC East rival, the New York Giants.
