Eagles 2019 Schedule Unveiled

Finally! After what seems like an eternal offseason we are finally drudging along. The draft is just eight night away, and tonight we found out the 2019 schedule the Eagles will follow.

Here's a look at when and where each of the 16 games will take place:

There are some interesting matchups for the Birds this season:

  • The Eagles will host the Jets in Week 5. Although it doesn't sound like an intriguing matchup, a lot is at stake for the Birds. The franchise is 10-0 all-time against the New York Jets, once of only two active teams the Eagles have never lost a regular season game to (5-0 versus Houston Texans).

  • The Eagles will head to Minnesota in Week 6 to face the Vikings. This will be the first game the Eagles play at U.S. Bank Stadium since winning their first Super Bowl in franchise history inside that building. Watching the Birds on the field that day should definitely bring back fond memories.

  • The Eagles will host the reigning Super Bowl champion New England Patriots in Week 11. This will be the first regular season matchup between the two teams since the Eagles defeated them in Super Bowl LII. There's a strong possibility that this is the third and final time Tom Brady comes to Philadelphia. The Patriots beat the Eagles in the previous two games Brady started in Philadelphia (31-10, 2003 ; 38-20, 2011).

  • The Eagles travel to Miami in Week 13 to battle the Miami Dolphins. It's the first time the Eagles play down in Miami since the dream team season of 2011. The Green Legion Trips & Tailgates Group is heading down to take over Hard Rock Stadium, and are expecting hundreds, possibly thousands of Eagles fans to take over Miami. You can join them for the trip and have all of the travel and hotel hassle taken care of for you by checking out the travel details here.
