The pro day tour continued yesterday for the Eagles, Duce Staley was also in attendance to get a close eye on Devin Singletary. While another Eagles rep possibly had an eye on safety Jalen Young.
Devin Singletary | RB | 5'9, 200 lbs| Jr.
Singletary is regarded as one of the best running backs in this year's draft class. In his final season at FAU, he rushed for 1,348 on 261 attempts, getting into the endzone by ground 22 times. He didn't show much in the passing game, catching just 6 passes all year, which wouldn't translate well to Doug Pederson's offense which uses running backs in the passing game often. He would still be a valuable running back for the team to draft in hopes of finally getting a true #1 back.
Current Projection: 2nd-4th Round
Jalen Young | S | 5'11, 185 lbs| Sr.
Named to C-USA's Second Team, Young had a fine senior season, registering 59 tackles (3.5 for loss) and adding a sack an interception, and a pair of forced fumbles. Young can do some work on the special teams side of the ball too, as he was able to block a kick last year. He could be a late round target for an Eagles team that needs depth at the safety position.
Current Projection: 6th Round
