At long last, the Eagles finally have their deep threat back. The Eagles just announced their inactives list for today's game, and #10 is nowhere to be found on that list, which is music to Eagles fans' ears everywhere.
Even though the offense didn't get off to a hot start in the only game DeSean Jackson was fully active for (Week 1 vs. Washington), they came around and they ended up producing 30 points. Now that he is back there's a chance the offense can finally stop its never-ending slow starts and get a touchdown or two in the first quarter.
If the slow starts still happen with #10 back on the field, he will at least be keeping defenses honest and the defensive backs will play a little deeper. This should open up the middle of the field for players like Zach Ertz, Dallas Goedert and Nelson Agholor.
Now let's all hope that everything turns out well with him on the field today, and then after the game he'll get a full week of rest for the bye week before an extremely difficult game lined up with the New England Patriots.
