Dak Prescott Inadvertently Calls Himself a Loser When Responding to Trash Talk
The competitive juices are flowing this week as the Eagles and Cowboys get ready for their showdown on Sunday which could likely determine who wins the NFC East.
Earlier this week, linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill told media that "Dallas always chokes." Many people thought it was an unnecessary comment, and will give the Cowboys an extra boost on Sunday. When asked about Grugier-Hill's comment, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had a pretty interesting response - saying "winners worry about winning and losers worry about winners."
Prescott might have forgotten, but the most recent Super Bowl champions in the NFL (also known as the "winners") are the Philadelphia Eagles. Kamu Grugier-Hill was on the team last season, therefore, he is a winner. The Cowboys finished with a 9-7 record and failed to make the playoffs (also known as "losers").
Using basic thought processing, it appears that Dak Prescott is the loser here, and he is the one worrying about what a winner said. We got ourselves a rare self-burn here.
With all this talk leading up to the game, fans from both teams should definitely expect a fun game to watch on Sunday. If the Cowboys end up winning, Grugier-Hill will be the scapegoat and will have "jinxed" the team. If the Eagles end up winning, Prescott's comments will end up being even more hilarious.
