He was only here for two seasons, but Chris Long made an impact in Philadelphia that will last a lifetime. A few days ago Long officially announced his retirement, and on his way out he gave one last assessment on the city he ended his football career in - calling Philadelphia the "Best Sports City in America"
Obviously he is well aware of Eagles fans and how passionate they are, but he recently took in a Sixers playoff game and was the honorary bell-ringer before the game. After seeing just how passionate Philadelphia fans were across all platforms, Long realized that he was playing in the best sports town in the country.
He only played 32 games with the Philadelphia Eagles, but Chris Long will forever be an Eagle and an honorary citizen of the City of Brotherly Love.
