Once Nick Foles' pass to Alshon Jeffery slipped into the hands of Marshon Lattimore at the two-minute warning on Sunday, the Eagles officially became Carson Wentz's team again.
With the Eagles eliminated from the playoffs and Nick Foles most likely on his way out (either via Free Agency or via trade), Carson Wentz is now the guy currently under center for Philadelphia's football team. When cleaning out their lockers today, Eagles players talked to reporters about the future, including Wentz.
When Wentz was asked more about his back injury that sidelined him for the end of the 2018 season, he told media that team doctors have a positive outlook for the QB's future health.
Wentz will have a chip on his shoulder in 2019 with many fans clamoring for the team to stick with Foles for the future.
