As the 2019 season continues to inch closer, the Carson Wentz hype-train seems to be picking up more passengers.
Today current NFL Network analyst and former Eagles college scout Daniel Jeremiah tweeted his predictions for this season's Most Valuable Player. The man under center for the Philadelphia Eagles came in at number one on his list.
Earlier this offseason, ESPN's Louis Riddick (who also used to be a scout for the Eagles) also guaranteed Wentz would bring home the MVP trophy this season.
With both Jeremiah and Riddick being former employees of the Eagles, they might still have some connections inside the NovaCare Complex that are feeding them some inside knowledge on how well Wentz is performing in the film room and on the field when the cameras aren't on. Or they just expect Wentz to use all the talent that is surrounding him which will allow him to return to his 2017 MVP-like form.
All of the attention will squarely be on Carson Wentz in 2019, and the pressure will keep building on him to perform well for 16+ games. But as long as his teammates stay healthy, Wentz should be able to make these analysts' predictions come true.
