Alshon Jeffery's shoulder is officially healed from his offseason surgery to repair his torn rotator cuff. He was cleared for contact this week and was expected to make his season debut against the Tennessee Titans today. That plan might now be pushed back though.
After his first practiced back, Jeffery contracted an illness that was described as a "24-48 hour" bug. The 48 hours has passed, but apparently Jeffery is still dealing with the illness to some degree, and now that has put his season debut in jeopardy of being moved back a week.
According to Ian Rapoport, Jeffery's status for the Titans game is described as a "game-time decision"
Carson Wentz will be hoping that when Jeffery wakes up later today that the illness is gone so that he can have his number one receiver back in action. If Jeffery does play, Wentz will have him along with Nelson Agholor, Zach Ertz, Dallas Goedert, and Jay Ajayi as his weapons to choose from.
