2022 Week 4 Injury Report: Eagles vs Jaguars

The Philadelphia Eagles will have their first interconference matchup this weekend as they host Doug Pederson's Jacksonville Jaguars. The Eagles remain relatively but will be dealing with their first impactful injury this weekend

Here's a look at the Week 4 injury report:

RB Boston Scott (rib)

With Scott out expect Sanders and Gainwell to get increases in their usage, but the Birds might also use Trey Sermon in a limited role. Sermon was inactive for the first three games of the season.

CB Avonte Maddox (ankle)

The Maddox injury could prove critical for this game. Josiah Scott is the next man up on the depth chart and is capable of having a productive game where he isn't a liability. The Eagles could also move CJ Gardner-Johnson down to the slot for some plays as well, à la Malcolm Jenkins.

*T Andre Dillard (arm)

Dillard was placed on IR and will miss at least the first month of the season.

*DE Derek Barnett (ACL)

Barnett tore his ACL in Week 1 and is out for the rest of the season.

The Jaguars have four players questionable for Sunday's game.

CB Shaquille Griffin

Griffin is a starting corner for the Jags. He did not play Week 3 against the Chargers so w'll see if he's had enough time to fully recover from his injury or if he will be limited if he does play Sunday. Darious Williams took all of Griffin's snaps in Week 3. Williams is a veteran five-year veteran who started out as an undrafted cornerback. He has 6 career interceptions and 29 career passes defended.

OL Cole Van Lanen

Van Lanen is a backup for RG Brandon Scherff. The Jaguars only have two other backup offensive linemen on the roster, so there's a chance they elevate someone on the practice squad for Sunday's game. The Eagles d-line could feast if Van Lanen is inactive and if Brandon Scherff ends up with an injury in the game.

WR Zay Jones

Jones leads the Jaguars with 19 receptions and is second on the team with 173 receiving yards. Jamal Agnew could see an increase in playing time if Jones is out or limited.

OLB K'Lavon Chaisson

Chaisson is a backup to #1 overall pick Travon Walker. Undrafted rookie De'Shaan Dixon could be the backup to Walker if Chaisson is out.
