2022 Week 12 Injury Report: Eagles vs Packers

The 9-1 Philadelphia Eagles host the desperate Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football. The Eagles enter this game with a healthy 53-man roster but a few key contributors on injured reserve. The Packers have a banged-up roster but expect to only be missing a couple of players on Sunday Night.

Here's a look at the Week 12 injury report for the Eagles:

*TE Dallas Goedert (IR - shoulder)

The exact type of shoulder injury Goedert suffered hasn’t been revealed yet, but we know he is out until at least the middle of December since he is required to miss at least 4 games when placed on IR. The Eagles don’t have a surefire #2 tight end behind Goedert. Jack Stoll has played a lot of snaps this year but he has basically been a blocker. Grant Calcaterra had a 47-yard reception in Week 3 against Washington (his only reception of the season so far). The Birds also activated QB-turned-TE Tyree Jackson last week.

*DT Marlon Tuipulotu (IR - knee)

Tuipulotu was supposed to be the fill-in NT for Jordan Davis but suffered a season-ending knee injury. The 2021 6th-round pick wasn’t terrible but wasn’t impressive either in his increased role. The Eagles added Linval Joseph and Ndamukong Suh to replace Davis and Tuipulotu, and they shined in Week 11 in Indianapolis

*Avonte Maddox (IR - hamstring)

With Maddox out, expect Josiah Scott to continue to take all of the slot corner snaps

*DT Jordan Davis (IR - ankle)

Davis' injury thankfully isn't a season-ender, but he was placed on injured reserve with his ankle injury. Even though he hasn't shown much in the stats department, he has been doing a lot of dirty work for his teammates in the limited snaps he has played this season. With the additions of Linval Joseph and Ndamukong Suh, expect a healthy rotation of them with Fletcher Cox, Javon Hargrave, and Milton Williams to try to offset the loss of Davis. Once Davis is healthy they will have fantastic depth at the position as long as no one else gets hurt.

*DE Derek Barnett (ACL)

Barnett tore his ACL in Week 1 and is out for the rest of the season.

Here's a look at the Packers' injury report:

WR Romeo Doubs (ankle)

The Eagles defense will see a healthy dose of Christian Watson, Allen Lazard, and Randall Cobb.

LB De'Vondre Campbell (knee)

With Campbell unlikely to suit up, expect his backup Krys Barnes to play in his place. Barnes went undrafted in 2020, and so far in three games this season he has recorded 20 tackles, 1.0 sack and 1 QB hit

David Bakhtiari (knee)

Bakhtiari has been listed as questionable previously and has played each time with that designation, so he will likely play Sunday night. Elgton Jenkins is his backup, but currently starts at LG. If Bakhtiari gets hurt, Jenkins would likely move to LT and rookie Zach Tom (2022 4th-rounder) would become the LG.

*DL Rashan Gary (IR - knee): Gary has been a huge loss for the Packers, and his absence has taken away a pass rush presence from Green Bay.

*CB Eric Stokes (IR - knee): Stokes was a first-round pick in 2021 who played in 16 games as a rookie (starting 14 of those games). He started the first nine games of this season before suffering a knee injury against the Lions and landing on injured reserve.
