The XFL is set to kick off in two weeks, and today the eight teams in that league had to announce their 52-man rosters. Out of the 416 players that will take the field next weekend, 30 of them have ties to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Here's a full breakdown of those former Eagles and where they landed:
WR DeAndre Thompkins
•Thompkins was a 2019 UDFA and failed to make the 53-man roster out of the preseason
RB Donnel Pumphrey
•Pumphrey was a 2017 4th round pick but never made the 53-man roster in his two chances
C Jon Toth
•Toth was on the team's practice squad for parts of 2017 and 2018.
OT Malcolm Bunche
•Bunce was a 2015 UDFA and failed to make the 53-man roster out of the preseason
DT Elijah Qualls
•Qualls was a 2017 6th round pick and played in six games that year, recording four tackles
S Tre Sullivan
•Sullivan played in 12 games for the Birds in 2018, recording 17 tackles
S Trae Elston
•Elston appeared in one game with the Eagles in 2017
CB Ajene Harris
•Harris was on the team's practice squad for a part of 2019
RB De’Angelo Henderson
•Henderson was on the team's practice squad for a part of 2019
OT Toby Weathersby
•Weathersby was a 2018 UDFA and failed to make the 53-man roster out of the preseason
